wow...two of my friends calling me on the Favre! They are both correct. The jersey is team issued (did get it from a friend at the Jets). The name came later...call it a "poor man's" Favre. A jersey that will remain in the personal collection. Sorry I was misleading.....

Just spoke to someone who just sold one Favre's early Jets gamers for $6500.00.

You lose most if not all credibility when you take a 2004 team issued Toby Gowin jersey, make a nameplate change, then represent it here as a Brett Favre team issued jersey you just picked up from a supposed insider...that is some serious B.S.

Great Giants collection! I was thinking about starting a new thread for Giants collectors. There are a couple other team threads and it would be cool to see what other Giants game used stuff is out there. I have a few g/u jerseys I can post.

Not really, I do have a mini - football signed at training camp, but it was signed with blue sharpie and I'm sure you know what happens to blue over time

Here's some of my Giants stuff - any other Giants collectors?

I have a similar mannequin. Instead of a proline helmet, he has on the new Schutt XP. The XP came out last season and was worn by just a handful of NFL players including KGB and Brady Poppinga of the Packers. Today it is worn by many including both Reggie Bush and Ladainian Tomlinson. I have since gave his pants some pads to make those skinny legs look bigger. I have a full uniform of the Packers from the early 70's that I wanted to purchase another mannequin for. My wife put the squash on that idea. "one is too many...take it down." Now I will have to swap uniforms on the one mannequin. I will do it and get some photos, but I will have to have my wife tuck in the jersey. I felt a little weird doing it on this one...

I have since gave his pants some pads to make those skinny legs look bigger. I have a full uniform of the Packers from the early 70's that I wanted to purchase another mannequin for. My wife put the squash on that idea. "one is too many...take it down." Now I will have to swap uniforms on the one mannequin. thats too funny, I thought the same thing about the skinny legs, so I picked up a pair of pads but they're too big and just didn't look right, I need to get youth size...I just got the wrist bands, they cover the wrist/arm seams. What size are your gloves? Thats next for me, and then a long sleeve t-shirt for under the jersey -

Yeah I now what ya mean about tucking in the pants - I left the jersey out for quite a while for that reason -

Thanks for showing - I was wondering if there were others - Do you get the same remarks I get when people first see it - "It's creepy" - "it's pretty cool" and "Do you play with it?"

The gloves are XXL. They were the only GU Packers gloves that I had. I stuffed the fingers and backs of the gloves with cotton balls. The mannequin has hands and feet like a woman. The ad claimed that he had size 11 feet, so I had a pair of William Henderson cleats that were 11.5 or 12. They are a mile too long, so the toes are stuffed with a heavy cardboard shoe form that come in some pairs of shoes. It was actually more hassle putting the thing together than it was worth. The only comments that I have received - believe it or not is about his eyelashes. I am about to install a dark Gilbert Brown/Ricky Williams style shield to the helmet...

Considering those are pre 2005 sleeves I'd say that looks strikingly like a 2004 Toby Gowin jersey with a nameplate change? What exactly do your friends "in" the Jets do? Man the ethics in this hobby can be such a downer sometimes.
