Hey there Jon, glad to see you join the forum. You are correct in that Boomer wore a huge size 54 during the 1993 and 1994 seasons with large open sleeves (however, that did change for him in 1995). In 1993 he consistently cut his left sleeve on his warm weather jerseys. However, on his jerseys with handwarmers he did not cut the sleeve. In my collection I am fortunate enough to have his 1993 season home finale jersey against the Cowboys (unfortunately a loss) with handwarmers - a truly gorgeous piece. Besides that, your jersey has 1992 Jets tail tagging. With Boomers first season with the Jets being 1993 this is probably one of a few jerseys the Jets whipped up immediately after signing Boomer. You have to remember the 1993 signing of Boomer and Lott were MEGA PR moves for the Jets at the time and you will often find odd and/or issued pieces of both players floating around, including 1992 tagged jerseys. Man with season going on have get this thread back going. I picked up Robert Royal Buffalo Bills throwback game used jersey from NFL.com auctions. Was surprised I even won it, most of time stuff goes for insane prices from them. Not even sure if I will keep it or move it for something else I now want. It came unwashed and the game used smell was something else. Shows great use from the game, he had 4 catches for 34 yards vs Raiders in it. Found a couple decent shots off getty for matches. Bills tag the jerseys in the neck.

Has nice wear on the front numbers and shoulder stripes.

Can match this white shoulder burn on the picture of him walking off the field.

Has a nice auto on the back with Go Bills inscription.

Some nice hit marks on the back nameplate.

Can see white burn on shoulder near the 8 and marks on the front 8.

Can see the markings on the front 8 pretty good here.

Here is the Ricky Williams jerseys that I got from NFL Auctions.
The 2003 was used vs the Giants 10/5/03, and photo matched.

The 2008, I just got, was worn vs the Ravens 10/19/08, and photo matched. It was also worn in a prior game(s) as it has 5 repairs. The "W" was removed and a repair underneath was done. Two to the left shoulder and sleeve and 2 on the left back. I collect Heisman winners and this makes my 20th item.

I think there are some jerseys selling worth the money from the NFL Auctions right now, like the ones we won.

I am throwing some pictures of a Esiason that I had from the the '91 season. It was worn in his last home game vs the Patriots, if my memory serves me right.

Also my Jackie Slater from '94 and '89 Kevin Greene. Kevin told me that practicing every week against HOF'er "Jackie Ray" made him a much better player.

i was at the bengals patriots game is 1991. a good friend of mine, garin veris played for the patriots. he knocked down one of boomers passes in that game. if you dont mind me asking what did you give for the jersey? when did you get it? nice jersey!! thanks for any info!

I got the jersey from the Bengal's linebacker coach Dick Selcer's son. He said he ask Boomer every week for his jersey until he finally gave him one the last home game. It was in a package deal were I bought all the jerseys that his dad and him had collected over the years, around 25 or so, from his career. It was one of the premium pieces along with Munoz, James Brooks, and a Bettis Ram jersey. I sold it a while back. A broker called me looking for some jerseys for a client. I was not looking to sell it but he offered me enough to make me sell it.

Hi,

I recently picked up a 1965/66 Broncos road jersey. I've included pictures of it next to the 1994 Broncos throwback that was modeled after the 65/66 style. The only place the Broncs missed the boat was on the collar - the 1994 throwback is orange but the original was blue.
