I have 18 Alcides Escobar game used bats in my collection. This will be his first full year in the pro's and it should be a great season for him. I beleive he will be in the running for the NL Rookie of the Year. Since JJ Hardy was traded now the time has come for Escobar to step up and shine at short stop.

And hey,the 1st one is the one that gets you hooked once you have it in your hands and realize your favorite player held it..
For me,it was a signed,cracked Giambi A's LVS H238 that I think I got for like $99 at the end of '04.Ah,memories...

Thanks to santajoe-(2000mvpfan)-I have one jason giambi yankees bat-I know that's a lame collection compared to you bat collectors.But i figure hey you got to start somewhere.And it all starts with that first bat.

And I also have to laugh as I have a wife and best buddy who constantly wanna know when I'll have enough Giambi bats to stop.

that was a very polite way to put it. my wife just says I'm totally crazy sometimes as my office has become over run with bats in tubes!! not to mention the storage tubs everywhere.

I'm currently up to 32 Alfonso Soriano bats: 3 game issued, and 29 game used dating from 1999 - 2009. Always looking for more!!
