Man - you gotta loan your bro to me! I could use some Bagwell stuff. I gave my brother $162 batting gloves for his b-day, yet he only gave me $45 for my b-day. Oh, well. What does your brother do for a living?

My brother runs his own business for personalized childrens books (random, yet effective when it comes to making money).

I buy him good stuff too though. He collects autographs, graded cards, & coins, so this past Christmas I got him a Willie Mays signed 16x20 photo, and last year I got him an Andruw Jones/Chipper Jones signed 11x14 photo. I don't think I could ever get him something though that would beat the Griffey helmet!

It was a present from my brother for Christmas in 2006. He always gets me this type of stuff. That same Christmas, he also got me a Braves-Mets game used base. The following year he got me an Edgar Renteria game worn jersey. Gotta love it!

Well, they are legit, so you have got yourself a nice piece. Did you get it as a gift? When did you acquire it? $1500 is a lot of money.

It came with an LOA signed by Griffey. He sold off a lot of his equipment back in the 90's, including most of his All Star Game equipment. When I first got the helmet, it also came with the original advertisment from some magazine that was selling all his stuff, with this exact helmet pictured, and a pricetag of $1500 I believe. I wasn't able to perfectly photomatch it, but I did style-match the alignment of the numbers on the back of the helmet to game footage
