It was a present from my brother for Christmas in 2006. He always gets me this type of stuff. That same Christmas, he also got me a Braves-Mets game used base. The following year he got me an Edgar Renteria game worn jersey. Gotta love it!

Man - you gotta loan your bro to me! I could use some Bagwell stuff. I gave my brother $162 batting gloves for his b-day, yet he only gave me $45 for my b-day. Oh, well. What does your brother do for a living?

My brother runs his own business for personalized childrens books (random, yet effective when it comes to making money).

I buy him good stuff too though. He collects autographs, graded cards, & coins, so this past Christmas I got him a Willie Mays signed 16x20 photo, and last year I got him an Andruw Jones/Chipper Jones signed 11x14 photo. I don't think I could ever get him something though that would beat the Griffey helmet!

2007 Lastings Milledge Mets helmet - pic from 9/29/07

Helmet and jersey are both MLB hologrammed to 9/30/07 (Milledge's last day as a Met)

The day before, 9/29/07 Milledge had the first 2 HR game of his career. Looks like the batboys tried to wipe the scuff clean for the final day but it can still be seen. I did find another mark on the front that matched but the pic would display correctly.

The only thing on the rear is the MLB sticker and the name sticker "Edge" (Milledge's nickname). There's nothing that would give a good photomatch.

A game helmet from the mid 70s worn by Walt Downing, All American center for the University of Michigan in 1977.
The helmet has Walt's auto as well as Coach Schembechler's auto.

Heres one you don't see every day. I just picked up Hines Wards high school helmet. It was last used in the Georgia/Florida highschool all star game before he went to U of Georgia. It is signed but it is kinda light. It is still a cool piece to have of a future HOFer.

Attached are scans of the Rhein Fire NFL Europa helmet worn by Peter Heyer The helmet is a Riddell VSR4 and the sticker on the back says the shell is a size X-Large and believe me, it’s all that and more - it's a monster.

Inside the helmet, there are 3 recertification stickers and one on the outside that says 2002. Above the right ear-hole there is a dyno strip that has the number “7” while on the left ear-hole, there is a number “9”. Below the ear-hole, there is a hand-written #74 which was worn by Peter Heyer.

I looked up Peter Heyer and he played for the Rhein Fire from 2002-2006. The Rhein Fire played in the World Bowl in 2002 and 2003. Since the helmet has been re-certified in 2002, could he have worn this helmet in the World Bowl? I don’t know and I certainly wouldn’t say that he did but the re-certification sticker does date the helmet to that period.

Kevin Youkilis batting helmet photo matched to the 2007 ALCS and World Series. Would love to have Manny's batting helmet but he keeps it every year.
