Very nice haul, like that batting helmet. Jay was at the golf tournament this year, spent lots of time chatting with people and is really enjoying his retirment. He is a good man, great collection and thanks for sharing...enjoy, Ty
I just wanted to publicly thank fellow board member Dewey (Dewey2007) for helping me to add a hard to find item to my collection. Steve Neal never made it to the majors, but he played at every level of the Diamondbacks' farm system, from the inaugural year of '98 to 2004, and I had never even seen one of his bats till Dewey emailed me that he had come across one, and offered it to me for what he paid for it.
Thanks again, Dewey...you're what this board is all about.
Ted I see that Moss Bat and its a good one.I got if interested his Game Used Signed Uniform from when he played for the Portland SeaDogs. And A signed Game Used Arizona Fall Hat from him as well.
Just got this signed Bronson Sardinha game used Zinger yesterday. It's the third Bronson Zinger in my collection, but it's the first one I've owned that has the Hawaiian "shaka" hand symbol stamped on the barrel. Very neat! It also has his nickname, "Bully."
Today I got a unbroken contract model Colby Rasmus bat. I also got somethign very interesting. I got the Invititation letter sent to Colby Rasmus for the Futures Game. It is the entire packet including all the forms to be filled out for plane tickets and stuff. Really cool.
Bought this off ebay. A piece of Adam Dunn's broken bat. He broke it vs Mariano Rivera in the 9th inning on 6/22. You can see this piece fly into the outfield and then picked up by Robinson Cano.
Just got this Emeka Okafor uniform. It is game dated and included a signed affidavit from the Bobcats equipment manager. In this game Okafor had 19 points, 18 rebounds, 2 blocks, 1 steal, and 1 assist.
