Hey Dave, what is the difference between a contract model bat and just any other bat? Is it just Colby's type of bat that he orders from his contract or is there something else to it?
A contract model has a signature stamped into the barrel instead of the normal block letters. As far as I know that is the only difference. You can only get the signature stamped if you have a contract.
Hello,
I just picked this Paul Molitor game used bat up from one of our forum members Tim Byington. Once again I have thank Tim for helping me find another great bat for my Brewers collection. This bat show light game use with several ball marks and the handle has a crack that lays flat. Has his uniform number 4 in vintage marker on the knob and Paul has also signed this gamer.
Thanks,
Jamie jlschultz180@wi.rr.com
P.S. I'm always looking for Milwaukee Braves and Brewers game used bats and equipment.

Andrew is right. This bat actually originated from him...so in a roundabout way, thanks to you too Andrew.
This bat is totally cool too - I don't know of many Cardinal players with a contract model who have never played in a MLB game.
