I was in Arizona last week and when I went to the Diamondbacks team store they had one of Emilio Bonifacio's bats there. I was going to buy it at the end of the week and they sold it. If you do not mind me asking, where did you buy/obtain the bat?

Hello,
I just received these two bats in the mail today. I would like to thank JR for these bats. These will look good in my Milwaukee Brewers collection. The Alex Sanchez is uncracked and shows great game use the bat is signed Alex Sanchez #22 2002. The other bat is Alcides Escobar uncracked game bat, he is one of the Brewers top prospects. I'm always looking for Brewers game used bats.

Gotcha! That flew right by me, too early in the morning here, yet to get my caffeine fix. The Red Sox have been here before, but with Manny gone, Lowell out and without quality pitching, the Rays have the upper hand, they have all season long.

What bat are you refering too?

My apologies, I was simply joking with the Red Sox being so soundly handled thus far by the Rays in the ALCS. Papi and Dustin are not hitting and Lowell is obviously out. I was not questioning your bats in any way.

Couple of recent pick-ups: Three Bicentential bats Craid Kusick, Larry Hisle, Bob Randall (all currect from their time with the MN Twins in 76'), Bernie Allen, Ted Uhlaender, a Scott Leius, Steve Lombardozzi, Tim Laudner, Chuck Knoblauch.

I have a 1986-89 Alonzo Powell gamer that I bought from the Pro Shop in early 1992. At the time I couldn't figure out why they had a bat from a minor leaguer who never played with the Twins. The number "31" was written on the knob so I assumed it must have been used by Scott Leius. I did some research and found out they played together in AAA right before Scott was called up to the Twins.

The Powell bat matches your Leius bat perfectly, same model, same color, and even the same notch in the knob. I had Leius sign the bat at the autograph party a year or so ago. I explained to him why I thought this was his bat and he agreed. He even inscribed it "gamer". However when I pointed out the notch in the knob (which is also visible on the bat he is swinging in the 1992 Twins yearbook photo) he replied, "I didn't do that".
