I was bidding against you last night on the Beltran bat. Congrats on the pickup. I thought it might be you cause the id that was showing had TNT in it. I figured I would end the bidding war and wait for another.

Nick I think we have the same taste considering I also bid on the Kent jersey and the Beltran bat but had to step aside for a big purchase I made with Andrew Langs help..Hope to be posting photos next week...

January has been a good month for me so far...

First, a 1993 game used & autographed Jeff Kent Mets jersey that arrived last week (thanks for your help Scott).

Earlier this week, I received the 1986 NY Mets giclee canvas that I ordered last month.

And finally, a hammered Beltran bat I picked up last night from Steiner.

Here are a couple of items I have picked up recently for my Alameda Sports collection:

2006 Cory Dunlap North Shore Honu road jersey (also worn by Jose Capellan for 4 starts in 2008). I picked this up from Hawaii Winter Baseball. Thanks to whoever posted that short lived thread about their sale!!

Bill Serena 1955-57 H&B game used bat. I picked this up in the first Mears auction. According to the records this was used towards the end of Serena's career in either the PCL or the International League. It's got a few nails in it and it's not the most aesthetically pleasing bat but I'm happy to add it to my collection.
