Special thanks to kj33706, he was able to get two 2009 Khalil Greene spring training jerseys with COAs straight from the Cards.

I've gotten so many great bats on GUU this month! Thanks guys, for all the great bats and great deals! My "favorite of the month" keeps changing but I have narrowed it down to three exceptional ones:

Rare Marty Cordova 2002 brown SAM bat. I can go years and not find a Cordova bat I haven't seen!

Mike Pazik Twins pitcher's bat. A beauty! Here's what Mike Specht said about it: "Congrats Helen-- you may own one of the most obscure bats on the forum." The color is brown to almost black (not as light as in photo) so first Hickory finish bat I have owned.

And a Bob Hegman bat. Played in only one major league game. Born in Minnesota!

The first and only times I saw them used at the Dome with the flag was right after 9/11 and thru the rest of the year.

It is, isn't it? I've been checking out those signs since 1998, wondering whether I'd ever have an opportunity to own one. Now I'll be picking this one up tomorrow morning. They're pretty good-sized, and metal. They sell smaller, plastic replicas in the Team Shop, but the real thing is a whole lot better.

I've got a Matt Williams CC w/the flag. I asked Matty if he remembered what year he used it, whether it was 2001, and he said he didn't think it was, but he couldn't say for sure. Does anyone know for sure whether the flag was just put on for a specified time - and, if so, when that was?

Being a Devil Rays bat collector, prior to 2008 it would have been impossible to add a World Series bat to my collection. Never say never......

Here are the pics. plus some other new bats.

Just a few Yankees items that I picked up:

From the Old House, game used lineup card from Tigers at Yankees game on May 1st 08. Very pleased with this one, as it was from one of the games I attended last year

Now to the new Stadium, game worn Rob Thomson road jersey worn through out the opening series on the road, Baltimore to Tampa.

And from the Opening Day against Cleveland, game worn Rob Thomson home jersey.

Gotta say special thanks to Brad at Shafran Collectibles for hooking me up with the lineup card and the home jersey!!
