To me, hockey goalie masks are the coolest item of all game-worn hockey equipment. The individdual design on many of them and the creativity that thought them up are fascinating. When Charlie O'Brien introduced the MLB goalie-style catcher's mask a bit over 10 years ago, I was hoping that MLB would display similar intriguing artwork Unfortunately, MLB poobahs stepped in and dictated that only a player number and the actual team logo (O'Brien originally had a snarling Blue Jay, not the official team logo on his) could appear on the mask.

I picked up this sweet item for my Colorado collection. Game used Colorado Eagles Andrew Penner mask. It was in an auction with team matching my bid towards the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Im still not seeing a definate match on that Markakis bat. Why would the 21 be added later? The pine tar is close but doesnt look like a perfect match.

look closely at the second picture... you guys are telling me that there is more than one bat out there with black tape on top of white with the exact same white fold underneath and the dips in the black tape

A pair of game used david wright cleats he hit a homerun with that are mlb authenticated and photomatched. Also a david wright game used 2006 helmet. Looking to photomatch (could use some help)

Very nice bat.

The dips look different to me. Why would the 21 be added after using it in action?

There seems to be a Markakis bat posting trend.

Photomatch? No. One bat has 21 on the knob, the other is void. Likweise, the bulge/indent in the tape is dofferent on each knob

Style match, yes.
