Hey KARAMAXJOE, if you wish I can send you a detailed list of game used items, all autographed with LOA from Jose as well. Also his former Agent and Attorney often asked me when i was going to open the Jose Canseco Museum because of all the "ONE OF A KIND" items, game used, and personnal items I own. And as a final note, I can have Jose contact you personnally letting you know in "his opinion" who has the ULTIMATE COLLECTION of "HIS" Stuff!!!

Okay, I'd love to hear from Jose.

Do you really care that I liked the other guys collection? I like jerseys and I didn't see too many on you site.

For me I usually look for unique items and stick to one main player- Placido Polanco.

- 2 Jerseys both filthy, 1 jackie Robinson day jersey.
- 10 bats and counting, including a walk off hit bat
- 1 batting helmet
- 1 pair signed batting gloves
- 1 game used base signed
- 1 alcs signed used champagne bottle
- multiple game used balls from milstone/meaningful games
- 6 locker tags need a cardinals or phillies one
- too many autographed items to count

Everything is Tigers. Looking to add some Phillies and Cardinals things in the future. Also would die for a fielders glove one day.

This will be my last post on this thread. First I would like to apolagize to cordovacollector, I am sorry for the hissy fit. If you read my post you will see it wasnt intended to be a "whose collection is better" fight. I was called out about my collection and I tried to explain the difference between a game used collection and a memorabilia collection. I wasn't trying to start a competition. This was a great thread and I apologize for hijacking it. To all a great fathers day.

OK, I have admittedly hijacked a couple threads lately and apologized for it. The topic of this thread is, "How many collectors are player collectors?" It has gone off topic to childish playground bickering of, "Mine is better than yours is."

Maybe it's just me, but personally I could care less. Not even interested in looking at their sites now. Don't even care who has what. Generally, people here enjoy seeing who other members collect, seeing some of the items they've found, and sincerely congratulate each other on nice finds. This is the first time I've seen a hissy fit over, "Mine is better than yours is."

So how 'bout it, boys? Take it off this thread and start your own so we don't have to read it unless we want to.

On second thought, why don't you guys have an MMA Fight ala Jose Canseco. Maybe Jose would even be the special guest referee for this. The winner of this showdown gets the special guest referee uniform match worn by Jose to add to their collection.

Speaking of which, are either of guys attempting to obtain Jose's recent match worn MMA fight trunks for their collection?

I give you that you have the best game used jersey collection, BUT overall???? Come on now hands down anyone who is a fan of CANSECO would not take a bunch of game used jerseys over CHAMPIONSHIP MINOR AND MAJOR LEAGUE RINGS!! PERSONNAL TATTOO ORIGINAL PRINTS!! OH AND THE 40-40 COLLECTION THAT CAME RIGHT OFF HIS WALL!! hmmm THAT IS A TOUGH DECISION.

Lets get BERNIE GERNAY, (Jose's present agent) involved in this one!! He owns Jose's 40-40 ring that Jose had made for himself, gorgeous piece. Bernie has also said he never could believe the items I have collected.

I also have the second largest baseball collection of Jose next to the cansecoking.com from beckett. He has contacted me before on aquiring about 10-20 cards he doesn't have. I recently sold him a 1/1 for about 180.00

Hey Todd come on now, you've got a great collection of Jose items but PLEASE, it cannot compare to my collection. We've known eachother for sometime now and WE BOTH KNOW I OWN THE "ULTIMATE" COLLECTION! Do I need to list everything down against yours? Please don't make me.

Not to mention, did you ever bodyguard for Jose? Go out to restaurants, dance clubs?? How bout being on his book tours for JUICED and Vindicated?? I sold you many items to enhance your collection as well, the world series sambat you sold to pablo perez, the 1999 allstar jersey the NYY world series batting gloves from 2000. I guess you forgot how you aquired those items.

Your collection is great but please give some credit to who has the ultimate jose collection.

If you guys could list both of your complete collections, perhaps we can put this to vote along with the Canadian Dan guy's collection. The winner as selected by the forum members gets a free copy of Juiced.

I think your collection probably takes the cake in unique Canseco items, but as far as game used Canseco items, I thinke mine is much more broad and complete. 1997 team issued jersey and pants (he was cut during spring training). Still waiting for my first GU jersey.
