Re: Obscure jerseys from Amazing Players
Here's a few non-baseball additions:
Bobby Orr (Blackhawks)
Tony Dorsett (Broncos)
I have seen legit examples of both of the above
Robert Parish (Bulls)
Pete Maravich (Celtics) These are out there, too
Jim McMahon (Chargers and Packers)
Jerry Rice (Seahawks)
Alan Page (Bears)
Len Dawson (Browns) Early career, not at the end of the line

Re: Obscure jerseys from Amazing Players
Great theme!
I would love to find a jersey of Hoyt Wilhelm from the 1969 Angels, and more recently Rickey Henderson and Eddie Murray from the Angels. I have seen several and own three Eddie Murray Angels bats. However, I have never seen or heard of any Rickey Henderson Angels bats. I have even looked at a few hundred photos of Rickey with the Angels, and cannot see any bats with the team name.
On the plus side, I was blessed enough to acquire three different styles of Mark Teixeira Angels game used jerseys from his short stint in Anaheim at the end of 2008. Now to find a Teixeira Angels Louisville Slugger bat with team name (those do exist).

I didn't forget... in fact Strawberry is the answer to a GREAT Trivia question...
Who is the ONLY player to have played for ALL for of the Franchises that were NY based at some point in time? NYY, NYM, LAD (formerly Brooklyn Dodgers) and SFG (formerly NY Giants).
- Chris
Jose Vizcaino played for all 4 NY teams too.
Duke Snider and Gary Carter played for all except the Yankees so they played for all the NY NL teams.Leave a comment:

Re: Obscure jerseys from Amazing Players
I always get a kick out of seeing Tom Seaver in a Red Sox uniform. Especially in the '86 series as he sat on the Red Sox dugout steps clapping whenever Boston got a hit. I could smack him for that.
Mickey Lolich Mets
Dean Chance Mets
Yogi Berra Mets
Tommy Herr Mets
Ron Swoboda Yankees
Raphael Santana Yankees
Ron Santo White Sox!!!
