I'm 38. Been collecting cards since I was 8. Owned a shop once, partner and I sold it when we both had to get 'real' jobs as we were both recently married and starting families...

Got my first game used bat when I was 15, Andy Van Slyke Rookie bat from the Cardinals. I was fortunate enough to do some promotional work for Kissimmee Sticks when I was in college and that allowed me to acquire some neat stuff, most of which I sold during that time, because, as I said, I was in college!

Someone on here mentioned that Juan Gonzalez was the first bat they ever got. Brought back some memories as we got to know Juan, Pudge Rodriguez, and some of the other Rangers pretty good as several of them swung Kissimmee Sticks for awhile during 93-94.

13 years old. Been collecting game used for 2 years. Have collected baseball cards since i was 6 years old

Well Im 29 and I have been collecting since i attented my first SoxFest about 15 years ago i think. Im so old I cant even remomber LOL.
But back then they where pretty much given stuff away.

32, been collecting game used since '05...autographs and cards since I was 12 yrs old...

43, been collecting game-used on and off since 1978, autographs since 1976, and baseball cards since 1974. Padres fan since 1974.

51 years old, & will be 52 on May 26.
Collecting cards since 1986, & game used since 1993.
Specializing in players with ties to Hawaii, especially Kurt Suzuki.
I am currently retired due to medical reasons.

41 years old (b-day in October) and been collecting game used for the last 2 1/2 years.

Collected cards and autographs when I was a kid and collected game used items between the ages of 13-15.

ill be 17 in august.

Have been interested in game used since Barry Bonds handed me his game used bat out of the dugout in 2000. All of my bats that I had up until I found this site last year were given to me by players at games, but I am now branching out a bit.

I am 32 Years Old And have been Collecting Game Used-Worn Items since late 2005.I Started Collecting Cards And Autographs ever since I can Remember as A Kid.I do still Collect Autographs but now I get them all myself And I really don't Collect Cards anymore except with my Father who Collects Tobacco Graded Cards.If anyone has Any Graded Cards let me know.

Hey Bobby...Great Bonds story!

Enjoy it while you can...you hit a certain age (like some of us) and you are guaranteed that no player will ever hand you his GU stuff!

Then you have kids and you just HOPE that they can wiggle there way in there to get something good for Dad to get his hands on!!!!

45 years old and have been collecting Sox jerseys since the strike year in 94 when I found a flannel in my father-in-laws attic.

46 and I've been collecting 'something' for as long as I can remember... comic books as a kid, then coins, then 1st Day Covers...

In High School I go back into comic books and started really getting into baseball cards... in college I sold all of my Silver Age Marvel Comics to pay for tuition (a year too early I might add - right before the boom) but still collected cards and autos and got introduced into GU items when I purchased a 1972 Texas Rangers flannel for $25... man I wish I still had that jersey!!!

From there I added bats and hats and have flipped my collection many times over the years due to expenses, ex-wife, etc...

I have been solidly back into since about 2000 and have a great wife who understands my collecting bug and backs me on it... ironically, my kid (16 now) can't stand baseball, but just got into comics in the last few years, so I am rebuilding my Silver Age Marvel Comics collection as well!!!

I'm enjoying reading everyone's stories!
