The best part about your assortment... they are all rookie gamers. If Jackson continues to be amazing, you will probably have the best jackson collection around. Incredible.

I misspoke, I meant to say Easton not Mizuno. Was thinking of my Mesoraco when I typed that.

        Hey Chris,

I believe Jane & Darla have/had that other Cueto Easton glove. I have seen three variations of the white Eastons. He used white leather/brown lacing/black lettering for his MLB debut and a few games after. I have one that is exactly like it, except the Easton lettering on the fingers is a natural white that matches the leather. Johnny actually confirmed to me that he used it during 2008, and inscribed it as such. The one Jane & Darla have is similar to both of those, but it has some sort of black rubber finger cap where your index finger would stick out.

          Re: October pickups....

I finally picked up a Johnny Bench bat, an early career one - on my list for awhile.

1969 H&B S2 model - signed, with terrific use. This model was ordered just one time, a single order in early August of that year. It also came with provenance from Bench confirming it's use and that the bat originated from his personal collection.

                    Re: October pickups....

                    Hello Guys,
I am sometimes apprehensive to post items here because I feel like I am gloating. I am so excited about this item that I want to share it with the forum.

                    September 17, 2010 Game Used Baseball (FJ080358)
                    J. NIESE THROWN TO J. HEYWARD, SINGLE, 3RD INNING

I have looked and looked all through the internet and have not seen a single example of a Jason Heyward MLB hologrammed baseball anywhere. It could be the only one around. A great piece of Game Used Memorabilia from the probable National League Rookie of the Year.

Please let me know if anyone has come across one in their travels.

                    Thanks,

                    Ron Michne Jr

Great ball! Don't ever feel like you are gloating or bragging. I can't tell you how helpful it is to fellow collectors when people share their acquisitions and provide useful information about those items.

I completely agree. I love to see the items in this section, it is one of the many interesting features of the forum. I know I have received good information from some of my posts, and I got some items due to some posts as well.

That is really a nice ball, great pickup!

Since my other thread was for some reason deemed against the rules (I was just excited and proud of my acquisition and wanted to share it with the hobby community, I'm not sure what warranted a deletion because I read the rules carefully and I did nothing wrong) I will post my new item here.

I recently picked up a game used ball from Halladay's postseason no-hitter. It was used to record the second out of the sixth inning and was thrown three times to pinch hitter Juan Francisco for a strike, a ball, and a groundout. It is one of only 4 balls thrown by Halladay which resulted in an out that was authenticated by the MLB from the game and not kept by Halladay or the team and one of only 17 total balls thrown by Halladay (Halladay kept one and the Phillies kept one, dropping the total to 15 balls that could become available).

Check getty images i tried finding a photo before i listed the bat on ebay. There is a studio picture from 2008 where he is holding the same model bat only it is black in color.
