You would think they told Leiter to sign the jersey as close to the numbers as possible without getting it on the numbers. It really is bizarre, and I love the Benitez jersey without the NOB. For some reason I thought those where one of the worst experiments the Mets ever had, that it looks so bad and in a way I love them. Very neat jersey, and there's not many '99 jerseys out there. Plus being a huge Milledge fan, Benitez is a guy I must like

I'm not sure why the leiter autograph was done that way. I'm guessing he must have signed it on the run and didn't pay attention to where he was writing. Either way, I got a great deal on both jerseys and I couldn't say no. It's the first leiter that Ive seen available in a long time and I had to jump on it. The Benitez was the third '99 mets jersey I've bought in the last three months. I sold a Franco a few weeks ago and also have a Bruce Benedict coaches shirt that's for sale. I like having one jersey from that style to fill a need in my collection. It's always nice to have a one year style jersey and this one doesn't have the year tag cut like so many of the other ones put there. Plus the autograph is really nice on this one. Nice additions to my growing collection.

Just added my second Ryan Braun gamer. Its a SAM from 2008. Uncracked and pounded with use. Typical mota on the handle and batting donut marks on the barrel.

Great looking bat, I sold my Hamilton to buy it when it was first offered, but was just a bit late getting to it. Then I was offered it the following week but passed on the mark up. Probably should have sucked it up and bought it but I am glad it made it to a collector in the forum. Congrats!

P.S. I will post pictures of my 2009 Hamilton Old Hickory I just recieved this evening

I acquired a bat that goes close to the top of my collection:

Ernie Banks 1958 GU bat - H&B S2 Model

Very heavy use, signed and also came with a Notarized Letter attesting to it's acquisition directly from Banks by a Brooklyn/LA Dodger stadium employee. One of the earlier bats of Mr. Cub that I have seen out there.

The '58 season was the 1st of consecutive MVP years for him, as he batted .313 with 47 home runs, 129 RBIs and SLG % of .614 and OPS figure of .980
