    I did find some 1970 Topps cards with probable 1970 spring pics, and none of them showed the patch. The pictures are in the later series, and, in that era, 7 series were issued, starting with the 1st in March and going through August or so when Series 7 hit the stores. Chances are good that these are photos from March 1970, given the dates the later series were available to collectors of the era. I'll post pictures when I get a chance.

      Add the Detroit Tigers to the list of MLB teams that wore the 100th Anniversary patch in 1969 spring training, based on the photo below:




      Face only pitched in two regular season games for Detroit in 1968, and his stats show his entire 1969 regular season work being for the expansion Expos. I'm not sure where/when else this photo could be from.
