Not my most expensive either, but when do you ever see a Billy Martin bat-even if it is a fungo-anymore?This one's from his time managing Minnesota or Detroit...

sigpic ...always looking for game-used JASON GIAMBIequipment!
I had to think really hard on this one and it has to be this Albert Pujols 2002 Old Hickory bat with shaved handle, photo matched to a Donruss baseball card and getty image.
Only two of these two-tone bats were shipped to Albert in 2002 as confirmed by an Old Hickory rep. I have yet to see the other two-tone bat surface and I have never seen any Old Hickory Pujols bats with the same color combo.

....anddddd my other favorite item makes it to the board. In all seriousness, Your story behind that bat makes me want cry . What a steal on your part. Secondly, Id probably sell off a huge chunk of collection for that baby. What a wonderful bat of my favorite player.

Always looking for ALEX AVILA, ALBERT PUJOLS, HOME RUN BATS, and any high end gamers from 90's-00's stars.
Alright, I have some good stuff in my collection, but nothing really "rare". Ive always just tried to acquire a gamer from my favorite players. This bat though is pretty cool.
My vladimir guerrero photomatched Home Run bat. He hit a grandslam off Zach Greinke with this. The reason I like it is because he used the bat for nearly a month back in 2007. It was one of the easiest photo matches ever due to the distinct marks, as well as, the donut ring wearing away at the bat.
For signed items I included my Ichiro signed 16X20. He signed it for me in person at the 2006 all star game and was so funny. I was so excited to meet him and have him sign it... he says to me. "Is this for you?" I tell him "Yes Yes Yes", all excited because I knew I was finally going to get a nice item from him. He takes the box with my 16X20 and sets it on the ground, and grabs someone elses item and signs it. My jaw drops, and im so confused.... he then laughs and goes, "Im just messing with you man.".... picks it up and signs it, and sure enough its framed today. Hes been one of my favorite players ever since, such a cool guy, and one of the best ever.

This was the only year Carter ordered 34" inch bats as subsequent bat orders were 35" (until the end of his career when he ordered 34" C243 while with the Expos). I put it next to a 76 Carter for comparison purposes.
I've not seen another 34" Carter 73 bat anywhere else.
Since Bert said Pujols rookie bats don't make the cut I'd have to go with my 2005 signed and inscribed bat. The bat itself is not the rarity (although it does have the nicest Pujols signature I have seen on a bat), but the inscription makes it a one of a kind. If you consider how difficult it must be to write on a bat, I can't imagine we're going to see a bunch of these anytime soon...frankly, I'm amazed Albert took the time to do it even once.

Amazing items everyone! Especially love the Pujlos' but i'm very new school I know there is no way on Earth I could ever on something in the stratosphere of these items, but I still love looking! It's great that all such unique bats are in the one community!
Ty Cobb Hanna Batrite- One of a kind center brand with his model designation instead of "Batrite" located inside the bat logo.
Hack Wilson Hanna Batrite- These bats with the player name only on the barrel are pretty rare, and so are Hack Wilson bats in general. I like the fact that it is made from hickory instead of ash. Has his trademark thin handle with a large knob. Thanks to Tim for this pickup
Dave Winfield Worth bat- This is a recent pickup. I've only seen one other and that was on Taube's site..
I think Dave only tried these for a very short time maybe in spring training. This was the listing on Taube's site.
