Not true as confirmed by my rep.
All jerseys are going to the highest bidder. MLB policy.
I confirmed my right to purchase a jersey and was told in writing that another person was also interested and being the current high bidder I would be given the opportunity to counter offer.

Before everyone gets excited, that is not true. They are not treating it as an auction, but rather a first come, first serve. The only one that was up for bidding was the Puig jersey, but since he didn't make it, it's a moot point.

Did you offer something below the asking price? I asked my rep about this and he said that the jersey is marked down as mine (unless the player wants to keep it), but I also had agreed to pay the asking price.

I offered to pay the asking price. Said it was mine and then received a follow up e-mail that I could be outbid on it.
My rep state all jersey's are going to the highest bidder.
Would imagine the Super Star players will be up for the highest bidder.

That wasn't my experience at all. I e-mailed him and when I mentioned the one I wanted was SOLD, he offered me an alternative jersey from the WBC but no option to get the jersey I wanted for a higher price.

Same experience for me. Definitely no auction setting, or a going back and forth on which buyer puts up the highest dollar amount.

Pablo I know I am right because of the fact that I missed out on the jersey I wanted (Jose Fernandez) and The Natural was my rep. There was no bidding back and forth and so on, just first come, first served. Now this is not to say that what you are saying isn't true simply to acknowledge that my experience (as apparently was that of the two other forum members you mentioned) was different than yours.
