Thanks,man..any Oakland of his are hard as hell to come by..still need an away and the 09 black alt of his..this one is missing the set tag,but everything else seems to check out-pro only size 50,his size at the time,faint tar stain on the shoulder,some light staining and stitch pulls.
All in all,I'm pretty happy with it!

Congratulations on the jersey! Yeah, it is amazing how difficult it is to find 95-01 Giambi jerseys. I think most of the people who bought them back then have held on to to them.

Have you seen any 2009 Giambi jerseys for sale? Back in 2010 I asked an A's employee who is usually involved with the memorabilia sales, and he said that they did not have any 2009 Giambi jerseys.

I know from an impeccable source that Giambi kept all the '09s...the only one that ever showed up that year was the TBTC vs. the Rays,and that's because the Rays auctioned it off.
I think people held on to those early ones because they went for HUGE $$$ at auction at the time of his MVP season-when the steroid scandal hit,they knew they'd never see what they paid for the jerseys if they tried to resell..just my theory,but the lack of his early gamers out there seems to support it.I got really lucky with a '95 green alt,'00 black alt,late 90's BP,the above mentioned '09 TBTC,and the '01 home..

MLB Authenticated game used 2nd base from the 2010 World Series game 3. I was at this game with my father, so I was really pumped to find this at a good price.

I just received an email a few hours ago that Evan Longoria's jersey from the game tonight will be pulled and authenticated for me after the game. I hope he hits 4 home runs and gets it nice and dirty!

Not a biggie or a grail, but still enjoyed: a 1991-93 UC LS171 game used bat of former Cubs relief pitcher Bob Scanlan, a guy I talked to a lot when he was an active MLBer and one of the most intelligent guys I've ever encounter in a baseball uniform.
