The bat was acquired twenty years ago right out of the dugout at Anaheim Stadium, directly from Brett by forum member Jerry Sage, a local here and a really good guy. I was lucky enough to have Jerry contact me to work out a deal to add this phenomenal bat to my Brett collection. It is definitely one of the most extreme bats I have ever seen, the pictures speak for themselves...
    Thank you again, Jerry!

Acquired this 1965-72 Billy Williams bat this week. It was really rough, but after some repair and serious cleaning, it looks decent. You can see Billy's #26 on the knob (along with 32 in pencil, the bat's weight) and, though it's faint, you can still make out the Yosh mark. I'm not a Cubs fan, but I always liked Williams, Santo, Banks and Jenkins.

I also got a set of Kurt Suzuki’s game issued, shin guard & chest protector. This was issued for the 2012 season with Oakland. I got this last month but just got around to photographing it.

Got a bunch of items from an Independent League team (Hawaii Stars) from here in Hawaii. I was lucky enough to be asked to be the official team photographer. It was great for photo matching a bunch of bats. While the majority of the players were using just the generic team issued bats, a few of them had their own personal models. Those were the bats that I asked for from the player. One of the local player on the team is a good friend of Kolten Wong so I asked him if he can talk to Kolten about buying a bat for my collection.

    Brenden “Bam” Davis bat, photo-matched.

Dustin Smith bat, photo-matched. He’s the son of HOF Ozzie Smith.

    Reggie Taylor bat, photo-matched.

Matt Treanor bat, used by Matt Hibbert.

Willie Harris bat, used by Glenn Walker.

Dane Sardinha bat, photo-matched. This bat is from his time with the Tigers.

Dane Sardinha game used baseball. Played in the MLB for the Reds, Tigers & Phillies.

Onan Masaoka game used baseball. Pitched briefly for the L.A. Dodgers.

    Onan Masaoka team issued cap.

Katsuaki Furuki game used baseball. Played 9 years of pro baseball in Japan.

Eri Yoshida game used baseball. She is also known as the “Knuckle Princess)

    A few recent pickups...

    - 1995 Detroit Tigers alternate jersey. Originally planned to be a Sunday alternate, this style was only worn once on May 7, 1995 before the team scrapped the idea.

    - 2013 Team USA WBC jersey of J. P. Arencibia. My first GU WBC jersey amongst my 60+ Team USA GU collection.

    - 2012 Detroit Tigers World Series name plate of Delmon Young.

Been awhile since I have picked up anything, but with the "fast" start by Billy Hamilton on the bases I jumped at this gamer. Here is Billy's 2010 game used Billings Mustangs road jersey complete with LOA from the team.
