Baseball # 1799...another foul ball (this one by an Indians righty) that again stopped in a location that only I could reach.

I managed to pickup 3 game used baseballs that are featured in the article in the link below that displays Billy Hamilton's blazing speed from his initial at-bat in a game (where he was hit by a pitch) all the way around to home to score. The MLB auth details are below in order (although the Brandon Phillips ball is coded wrong as it wasn't a single he hit. It was a fielder's choice):

Surprised you bought one from their authentics team, price is steep.

    Cool jersey regardless though.

84 George Brett Bat. Doesn't have a ton of tar like some of his gamers, but the use is excellent. Lots of seam and ball marks on the left handed hitting surface. Also photo matched to him giving it to a kid at Yankee Stadium in August of 84.

Thanks Dave. I think I stole that in the SCP auction. There were so many GREAT items in that auction, that I think the Consolo was overlooked. Hard to find those 40s or 50s Sox jerseys in all original condition, as most of them were sent to their minor league clubs after the season ended.
