Mike Napoli Marucci bat photo matched to ALCS game 5. The bat was used to hit a 460 ft. HR off Tigers pitcher Anibal Sanchez in the 2nd inning, bat was cracked in the 5th inning.

Sorry 'bout that ...I stumbled across it at an antique shop near Birmingham and snapped it up. I sorta stood for stared at it for a minute and showed my wife. I couldn't believe it. I've been recovering from surgery for a few weeks so I'm just now getting around to posting it.

Finally got my game used Johnny Pesky Red Sox bat to complete my Teammates set of Williams, Doerr, Dimaggio, and Pesky. My Williams is graded a 9. This Pesky is an 8. I sent the other 2 off to get a grade on them too. All 4 bats are very high quality. The Pesky bat was the toughest one to find. Very rare. Here it is (thanks Goldin!)

I was wondering whether you had heard anything from MEARS regarding the Lynn helmet. I bid with MEARS quite often and am very interested in how they handle this issue in light of this evidence.

I emailed MEARS a week ago and the problem is yet to be resolved. I have been told several times that it is a "top priority" but no answers. I'm still waiting, but will keep you posted once there is action either way. I was told they stand behind it 100%....let's see what that means in actuality.

Only have one piece of BoSox memorabilia in my collection, so I thought I'd share.

Darnell McDonald LVS bat from the Fenway 100 game back in 2012 (not game used). I believe these bats were used for one game only, not sure how many of them are out in the wild.
