Manny Ramirez 2007 X-bat photo matched vs the Indians ALCS game 6. Also matched to the 2007 World Series game 3, you can see a partial ink transfer of the gold WS logo on the barrel.

I was wondering whether you had heard anything from MEARS regarding the Lynn helmet. I bid with MEARS quite often and am very interested in how they handle this issue in light of this evidence.

Glad we could assist...Troy/MEARS are very respectable....they stand behind their work.

I was able to find another Lynn helmet that went to auction...

Both photos of Lynn are from 1975. The the MEARS cert says 1974 to 1976. Were you able to find photos from either of the other years?

Thank you for your concern regarding the authenticity of my collection Theodore. Here is the link to the MEARS listing where I purchased it.

If you expand the pictures you will see strong game use and that it is also era correct (not brand new).

Pretty neat David Ortiz bat that was used in the 2009 World Baseball Classic. I also believe it was used in the 2009 regular MLB season as well. Absolutely hammered bat with gold & blue ball marks all over it.
