I am very excited about the package that just came in. Game Used Jerseys from the Daytona Cubs
Daniel Vogelbach - had to wear a different number/size for this night only because his normal number did not fit

2004 Edgar Martinez gamer - one of the most hammered bats I've ever seen - the black is all pine tar. Bat is from Hiram bochachica - can't read the inscription "para bochachica - ---- Tu amigo " can't figure out the R word.

possibly Recuedos de tu amigo which is memories of your friend.

I believe its a bat given to his 2004 teammate which was Edgar's final year.

Thanks it cost me a piece of my Avisail collection. I had to part with my playoff ball. I'm just glad I was able to add the glove and ship the ball back to the original owner. Good deal all around.

I went with the family to a Royals/Cardinals game this week and we got to do a visit to the broadcaster booth and hang out for a good portion of the game. Rex Hudler, who is a friend of mine, has always had this habit of having a baseball with him during interviews and broadcasts, so as a momento I got this as a takeaway from the game:

Got my first glove today and also checked off the top of my grail list. Chris Sale Glove from 2012. Shows lots of wear in the pocket.

Nice Chris Sale glove. One of my Holy Grail is a glove as well, I have been looking for a Kurt Suzuki glove for a long time. Hopefully I will find one soon.
