Added a couple former Cincinnati Reds catchers GU gloves to the collection recently...Eddie Taubensee and Ramon Hernandez, both with tremendous use.

Awesome Reds mitts! The customization on the Taubensee glove is very cool. Any idea what "J.E.T." or "BIG BEN" stand for?

Been a busy month for me. First item is my first Jose Altuve bat! Love the two tone. He broke this on 5/9 here at Camden Yards at a game I was at.

Congrats on the Altuve bat. Did you win it on MLB.com Auctions? If not, did they sell it at the stadium? I ask, because I haven't seen visiting players' bats sold at Safeco in a long while. Enjoy your lumber!

It was a MLB auctions piece. Probably overpaid for it, but I love the two tone, and the game had some sentimental significance to me as well. Probably a top 5 favorite item in my entire collection now.

Also glad to see he wasn't hurt last night. I cringed when I saw that ball hit his fingers. Thought for sure he broke something. Glad to hear otherwise. Looking forward to him in the All Star Game this year. He is more than deserving of a nod.

Ahh, that makes sense, come to think of it, I remember seeing his name and a Bible verse on the back of it. Its really cool that he takes that amount of time and effort in making those lineup cards. It displays really well. Even the GF was really impressed with it , and she doesnt say that about much of the collection haha.

Finally (after years and years of searching) - I have a chance to pick up a game used item for Ichiro - 2014 Locker room nameplate.

Game used bats and jerseys can be had for a ridiculous amount, but a game used locker room nameplate, it cant be found for some reasons.

Game used Dustin Ackley bat from last night. Ive never seen neon green tape like this or this sticker on the handle with the American Flag. Auth. HZ 288336

Super excited to finally add my first Jim Abbott jersey to my collection. I've been following him since high school and collecting him as soon as items were available but GU Abbott jerseys rarely surface. He was traded in late July '95 to the Angels so he only made seven home starts prior to that. Pictures were hard to track down but I'm fairly confident it photo matches the three I've posted.

Those lizard skins are catching on slowly. I know David Ortiz uses them, and a few others. Really popular with softball players. Really awesome bat.

yea, i know that Stefen Romero has been using them on the mariners all year and Ackley,Zunino and Gillespie have started to use them recently. In my opinion it makes the bat more collectable and appealing than one without it
