Everyone please remember that the For Sale Forum was reinstituted at members request while the finishing touches are being put on the enhanced For Sale forum that will be a much better / easier / informative forum for both buyer and seller. In the meantime, items on this forum are listed at a price that is acceptable to the seller. As contact can be made via either the forum or directly to the sellers email, there is no reasonable way to know who the first contact may or may not be, and confusion may exist. The new forum will eliminate that confusion,. In the meantime, realize the limitations of this format and be resprctful of one another.

Yes, actually, I did see it. At least 2 people alerted me after the jersey was apparently already sold and forwarded the pics you sent out of it.
Would I have paid $700 for it? Absolutely. And I 100% GUARANTEE you without any semblance of a doubt AT ALL that I could resell it for $700+ to more than a couple of collectors......no problem. I ONLY collect Chicago Bears game used jerseys and am well aware of the value of a 1994 season throwback. The retail authentic versions of those jerseys sell for between 400 and 500 dollars! In my opinion, you gave somebody the deal of the year.Comment

Remember I am the guy who told you I would but the jersey and you said another buyer came along later and offered you more. when I asked to match or exceed the offer you said no. So, this jersey is sold, then resold at a higher price but you can't offer a higher price cause , it is sold to someone other than you who thought you bought it at the buyers price but it's sold cause someone other than you offer a higher price and you can't offer a higher price than the other person who offered a higher price causes it's sold. gottcha. jersey is sold.Comment

If I'm reading it correctly, the jersey was originally posted for sale at a certain price. One person (the irate one) emailed and both parties agreed to buy the jersey. Before payment arrived, another buyer offered the seller more, which the seller accepted, thus reneging on the original deal by not only backing out, but also not allowing the original buyer the opportunity to match the price.
