hmm.. different sleeve trim on the 1998 purple alt. depending on whether it was regular season or spring training. regular season had black, spring training had purple. crazy!

howard: i concur with your opinion of dennis, the new owner of sports warehouse. dennis is fantastic. regarding sports warehouse's previous stock: if this sveum was restored, wouldn't there be noticeable stitch holes? i still don't see where the person got the front number and the "M" from as neither style could be found on other dbacks shirts.

      Rudy, Howard, et al:
Well, let's take one step further into Crazytown: that's a 2-color front number! Green over dark purple...
I still can't believe anybody would be crazy enough to invest this much effort into a fake Dale Sveum jersey (you have to hope he's not reading this)! The stitching on this thing is TIGHT. This is quality work...too high a quality to have effed up the colors this egregiously! I'm still hoping for a signing ceremony or prototype jersey, as the D-backs did change colors between the 1998 and 1999 seasons...I'll keep you guys posted if I ever find anything...

I don't mean to split hairs here, but this thread was started in the for sale section. I don't mind guys sharing info about D-Backs jerseys in the same thread, but please refrain from hijacking the thread with items you have available for sale. Please start a new post if you have something you are offering for sale. I think that is common courtesy.

          Thanks for your cooperation.
