I saw photos of the Jamarcus Russell jersey you are offering forum members. You say it's from his freshman year which would be 2004. Here's a pic of what you're selling.

In looking at photos of LSU jerseys from that year, can you explain why it doesn't have the nike and sec patches on it?

Given the fact that there have been questions about some of the other things you have sold or helped sell people on the forum, I think it's important to explain why there's a difference between your piece and the game photos.
Also, your jersey has a Ripon tag? Is that correct if they 2004s have Nike swooshes on the front? Perhaps it is, I just am asking you since you're the seller.
Who is the source on this jersey? Is it the same as the Saints items which people had questions about and some were ultimately returned?
The members of the forum deserve answers to these questions before opening their wallets.

Eric...you seem to question everything i have.....and you seem to enjoy posting pics of the items i have....for your information, the LSU jerseys did not come from same source as the saints items...they were obtained from a LSU player from last year....the Russell jersey you posted pics of does not have the SEC or Nike patches on it...they may have been removed...the Perrilloux and Flynn from last year have both patches....as far as the saints items i have had, you should post that you bought a red Brees practice jersey from me 3 weeks ago and liked the jersey..thats number 1..number 2 is that the white brees i had just sold on ebay for $500...number 3 is the Bush cleats just sold for $1125 by the same seller...i dont understand why you continue to make these posts...are you targeting me directly? If someone is not happy with an item they are more than welcome to return it....maybe you should post the fact that you were very happy with your red Brees jersey...im not trying to be argumentative, but you continue to attack and scrutinize my items...its very frustrating, and to make comments about questionable returned saints items is completely untrue...name one item that someone has gotten that they returned....

I bought the red brees jersey from you because i was able to do research on it on my own and it was a fair price. I matched the exact style of what was used, so if it was used or issued, I was happy with it. But the point is, I knew that information going into the transaction.

Since you didn't post photos of the Russell jersey you were offering to GUU members, I wanted to ask questions to help people do their research. There was no mention of the patches missing.

I am not picking on you, I am just pointing out the the inconsistencies with many of your items.

And here is the link to you saying a Saints item was returned...

It's the Bush #5 helmet which didn't match the proper style and the reggie bush jersey which should not have had a tail tag which you helped to sell...

this is the last response i will make to this post....first of all i NEVER helped to sell the Bush jersey with the tags on it....it was listed by a friend of mine along with tons of game used saints jerseys......after a tagging issue came up, that person dealt with HIS source on the jersey...the other Bush jersey i had was not from the same source.....as far as posting pics of items if i knew how to do that i would...i will try to figure that out, and will be VERY happy to post pics....i just sent Eric pics of the other 3 LSU items, and I would be happy to let him post pics

It actually shouldn't be the last post you make to this thread. If you come on the game used forum and try to sell something to people, you should provide information to the buyers and let them know of things like missing patches etc.

I will not be posting the pics of the other items you are selling. It is the seller's responsibility to do that himself.

We are all about information sharing on this forum. That definitely goes for those who sell to fellow members.

As the owner of the Russell jersey that is posted, i can guarantee 100% that it is at least team issued 2004 LSU Jamarcus Russell jersey....feel free to contact the LSU football equiptment manager...he told me that Ripon made the jerseys for Nike in 2004, and that both the Nike swoosh patch and the SEC patch were added to the jerseys...the size 48 and 4 inched extra length are correct...whether this jersey had the patches removed, which is not uncommon, or the jersey was issued to Russell and never worn in a game are unclear, but i am 100% certain it is team issued by LSU to Jamarcus....if anyone wants pics of the Flynn and Perrilloux jerseys from last year that are Nike and have both patches feel free to email me at wakeforest86@cox.net..i also have pics of the Chris Jackson game used helmet as well...hope this info helps...good luck finding another legitimate Jamarcus team issued LSU jersey

I appreciate the information and photos posted by Eric. In my opinion, it really should be the seller's responsibility to provide that sort of information. If the information was provided at the outset, there would be no need for a third party to offer it and nobody would feel targeted. Just my opinion...

The Russell jersey will have to be sold as game issued, since there is no way to prove it was worn in a game, or whether there were patches removed...by the way, i always give my email address for people who want pics of any item, and that is the best way to do it...i dont see many members posting pics of their items, and this way those that are truly interested can get the pics...if others feel the need to post pics that are sent to other members for all to see, i guess thats their choice, but they should contact the seller first in my opinion

almost the same EXCEPT the fact that it is a different manufacturer, and it is signed...I'm not quite sure where you are going with this..?

Gentleman, correct me if I am wrong but isnt this the same guy who was offering the Cubs Maddux 3 sizes too big, and the Pujols 2001 majestic, and the 2 Bonds jerseys which did not match specs? I think Rob called him out at one point.
