I'm not saying it isn't, but are you sure it's baseball related?

At first I thought it was George Stallings, manager of the 1914 Braves but the pics I have of him dont match and the Braves were still in last place as of JUly and couldnt have won a pennant in June.

          From the University of Arkansas...

          Pennant Day

This isn't really a legend, but another way that students used Old Main for purposes outside of school. It originated in 1903 when seniors would place their pennant on the north tower and then told juniors to "leave it lay." The two classes would battle to see if the juniors could get the pennant. But when several students fell or were pushed off the roof, though no deaths were involved, the tradition ended

This does not look like Mack at all to me.

It's definitely not Connie Mack, but who is it?

Paul Muchinsky was the high bidder, so it's probably sports related unless he made a mistake.

And if he doesn't have it already then you know it's rare....I'm thinking it's one of the 1913 Philadelphia Athletics players, but who?

Not Eddie, but I can see why you might say that.
