Picked this up from the Heritage Auction. My Dad took me to two games in '74, both games started by Dave Freisleben . . . This 1974 piece won't be seen on eBay anytime soon.
I figured as much, just noting it's usually observed that if you are going to immediately sell something, i.e. 2 days after posting, it doesn't go in the pick-ups section....but the classifieds.

Welcome to your first (and hopefully last) communication with Mr. Congeaniality, Mauer7.
He's a likable guy, eh? I kind of equate my correspondences with him to biting down on my favorite piece of halloween candy......only to find a hidden razorblade........geez, such a disappointment!

I see another "recent pickup" that is listed on the bay. Not only that, but I believe the source, noted in the auction, may be inaccurate. I don't know who it most recently belonged to, but I know I sold two of the three items off a while ago. I purchased them from a minor league collector for around $150, back in 2006. I think early 2008 I sold them, on ebay buy-it-now, for $250. That was after I struggled to get them sold a few other times, as an ebay auction for less. Practically the day they must have arrived to the buyer they were listed on ebay for $2,500. I thought that was unrealistic. I saw them on there for quite awhile. . .I'm thinking a year or so. Based on this post, they must have exchanged hands again. Now they have ballooned even more.
Sports related but movie worn (a weakness of mine). Two Duluth Bulldogs uniform tops meant to resemble jerseys from that era. Both players appeared on screen and they have a great vintage look. I have #'s 1 and 21.
