Another package in the mail today.

Travis Wood Louisville Bats alternate jersey. Wood shot through the minor leagues this year and is considered one of the best pitching prospects in the Reds system.

I already had the two pink bats, but the new pick ups are the two Gabe Gross, BJ Upton, Michel Hernandez, Matt Joyce, Justin Ruggiano and a Jerry Roster and Jeff Burroughs.

I have started to collect Braves from the 1970's-80's as well as Devil Rays...

I have some pick ups to post later.....

My thanks to friend and Ripken collector Brett Herman for our deal on a absolute KILLER 2000 McGwire pounded, uncracked, signed Cardinals bat with 2 letter: PSA on sig and Mike with the letter on bat.

Expensive, but not easily replaceable! Thanks again Brett!!!!

two nice Braves bats:-) love the Gant. one of my favorites in-person game experiences was when he hit a grand slam vs the Pirates in the 92 NLCS.

Last week I showed a Lonnie Smith 1991 NLCS bat that I had just gotten. I was able to trade the Smith for a Ron Gant NLCS bat. The Smith had better use but since I collect all things Gant this was a trade I was thrilled to make!

Just got this in the mail today...it was originally purchased directly from the Knights and included the original reciept.

2005 Frank Thomas minor league rehab Charlotte Knights jersey. Sizing and numbering are correct for his rehab assignment. Shows tremendous use, and an obvious renumbering, most likely from the need to fit big Frank into a jersey larger then most .

Attached are the pics of the front and the back. Also attached is a shot of the Big Hurt in a 41 jersey from the Knights...its just not the mesh style that I have. I've had difficulty finding Frank in the mesh BP style jersey while at the Knights, but am 100% confident in its legitamacy.

Two lids were received in the mail today from a bullpen coach (Juan Nieves, White Sox) and a supersub (Scott Hairston, A's). Never hurts to make friends with guys in uniform and discover their interests for potential swaps.

In years to come, these 2009 Louisville's will be looked on as "must have" bats! That Kinsler looks great!!!!!!!!!!!!
