i didnt snap a pic of it, but last night i was at a Round Rock Express game (AAA of the astros) and Edwin Maysonet was using a J.D. Drew bat, I thought it was really weird bc they have never been on the same team, let alone the same organization

During Arizona Fall League last year I got a cracked bay from Lance Zawadski and it turned out to be a George Kottarras bat. I asked him about it later in the season because I could not find any time that they were on the same team (though George did play for the Padres but before Lance got there) and he said they shared the same agent and thats how he got the bat.

I recently picked up a 1983-84 Butch Davis model bat used by Frank White, same model, length, weight as Frank typically used, and has Frank's characteristic "20 with a smiley face in the zero" in sharpie on the knob.

Noticed today while watching the Yankees/ Red Sox game that Francisco Cervelli was swinging a Brett Gardner bat for at least one at bat and with 5 RBIs one would have to think he may keep that up!

being a grapher at a AAA stadium, i see this all the time. i would say 75% of the pitchers use another players bat, just because they cant afford them.

While taking pics at yesterdays Braves-White Sox game, I noticed J.C. Boscan using Melky Cabrera's bat. He then broke it, and I got a shot of the bat boy picking the pieces up incase the bat were to hit the market

Saw this on ebay. Del Crandall of the Milwaukee Braves wearing a St. Louis Cardinals batting helmet. I assume it is from an All-Star Game.
